    Changelog:
    v23-beta-2:
this build contains a new way of dnsmasq handling. if this solve not the current problems
i must switch back to the old 2.23, because 2.24 seems to be buggy

    12.12.2005:
0000091 connections/ports get extremely long TTL and stay for days
0000263 Input field value checking does not prevent to save settings
0000433 extra line break on setup screen

DNSMasq as DHCP seems to be completely broken. It doesn't give out IPs at all.

confirmed, I cant get an IP with dnsmasq.

XP assigns an adrres in the 169.254.x.x after the timeout

    ---------------------------------------

Router doesnt work as DNS Server... (forwarder)

Im using static ips with 192.168.1.1 (router) as primary dns server and DNS doesnt work.

    Proof:

    1)Telnet router
    2) use the nslookup

    ~ # nslookup www.microsoft.com
    Server: BASE
    Address: 192.168.1.1

    nslookup: www.microsoft.com: Unknown host

    can anyone confirm this ?

DNSMasq seems to be working perfectly here, for both DHCP & DNS...

    Using v23 12/12/05 std on a WRT54G v2

I'd suggest holding reset button for 30 sec and reconfiguring manually if you're having problems.

    Confirmed. There are DNS problems

    Issue 442

Problem seems to exist only when using PPPoE. Currently 2 work arounds:

    1. Disable DNSMasq on the Administration page

    2. Specify a valid DNS server on the Setup page in the "Local DNS" box. (You can use one of the DNS servers shown on the Status > Router page.)

Also you can specify a secondary DNS server in your Network Interface Card configuration.
(You can use one of the DNS servers shown on the Status > Router page.)

Still got that disconnecting from IRC with the 12.12 version.
Have manually configured the router, with a pc that's connected with a cable.
Have used the -press-resetbutton-30-seconds method before and after flashing, so, don't know what i can do to get the connection stable.
