What does it means by trx binary problem fixed for moto wr850g? Does it mean we can flash using the GUI interface? Or it is we can change the extension from .bin to .trx and flash using the GUI ? I downloaded the mini and the fw for moto is still in a .bin extension. Don't want to get stuck with another no-working wr850g router.

very quiet thread. 6 hours up and I post.

Does that mean they're no issues?

Well, this maybe already posted before, but I do feel using dnsmasq to do the dhcp (check Setup->Basic Setup->Use DNSMasq for DHCP) is slower than just use dhcp. It take much longer to get a IP address for either wired or wireless (WPA_PSK) client. Other than that it looks good.

I have GS v3 and using GS std version (11/16).

    Thanks BrainSlayer!!

    System WRT54G V3.1 11/16 Standard Build
    DNSMasq enabled
I have 4 MAC's defined for static leases. The leases/IP addresses are correctly applied but the leases do not show in the DHCP client section of the status page or in the DHCP Client table. In past releases they showed with an expire time of 'never'

Did you do a renew address on your client machines after you reboot the router? if not, then either you have to wait till lease expires or renew the IP from client machines to get it show up in the router status page.

It works here after lease epxires or do a renew IP address.

I will just let it run - the clients were assigned the correct IP when they were powered up (Cisco ATA's)
Maybe when they expire naturally and renew, the GUI will populate

DHCP whether through DNSMasq or udhcpd is still pretty slow. I don't know how this could be fixed though - not sure if this is inherent with the dhcpd daemon or a configuration setting somewhere.

So that WAN port is working now??

i be upgrading to this if it is, went back to 11.11 after 11.14 messed up the ports :( and ports are still messed up after downgrading or even goin to Linksys fw.

All is good here. Things seem to be working quite good and smoothly. I've notice no problems with ports, but now there is a selectable option on the basic setup page that I believe might be for that.

Anyway, I have no complaints, hangs, or goofy nature for my GSv2.1

    Again, superb work Brainslayer :thumb:
