    im using v23 std 26.10.05 on a WRT54G 2.2, after upgrade i made a full reset + erase nvram/reboot.

Access Restrictions isnt working at all (old problem, after reboot iptables goes blank, url filter are in nvram but doesnt block nothing)

When i try to backup config nvrambak.tgz is 0 size and httpd die !

In Managment / Web Access, after i select the flag in https save, switch to another page (like hotspot or services) and back to web access the flag isnt there anymore

Even after i select Use DNSMasq for DHCPD, the option in services/DHCPD is still enabled, is that right ? (I thought it was UDHCP?)

Using DNSMasq as DHCP and selecting static leases in DHCPD, has made my DHCP Clients Table crazy, some times shows some IPS some time others, some times none ...

Is my impression or DNSmasq is a slow DHCP server ?

what is the difference between reset to factory and firmware defaults ?

According to BrainSlayer, DNSMasq doesn't support JFFS2 just yet, so you'd have to renew your IP (ipconfig /renew) in order for it to show up under DHCP Client List and Table.

I am experiencing very slow DHCP responses on both my v3.1 and v4.0 units. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

This problem also existed with the 10-21-05 release, but I had to go on a business trip and therefore couldn't post about it.

If you guys have had this experience and/or have any suggestions please let me know.

    It seems to work!

    :cheering:

doing it the lazy as hell way just updating firmware and turning on and off no reset..
    old config
    and works great.
didn't manually have to rejoin a wireless networrk.

dnsmasq is a much faster server than udhcpd. and more stable as well. nvrambak.tgz can only be downloaded with http not https, thats why backup and upgrade is disabled in https.
additionally you should know that you have to save on a page before switching to another. otherwise you lost your settings. so that https switches back is correct and not possible in another way. if you type in a search question in google and you close the browser your search phrase is gone too for example
