    Hey all,

Just installed Tomato 1.06, on my brand new Linksys WRT54GL V1.1. I must say the install could not have gone smoother and been more user friendly. So far I am very impressed with Tomato, and only had a couple of small issues last night, which I was able to resolve, after reading the following thread:

    http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/showthread.php?t=51943

I bought my WRT54GL after having bought a WRT54GS V5.1 and was having the WORST experience ever with my first time using wireless devices. After a lot of reading, its now obvious to me that the WRT54GS V5.1 is just a big piece of garbage thanks to crap firmware, and limited hardware design.

I am in the process of doing an RMA on my 5.1, but one thing I was curious about.... I noticed that DD-WRT has a "MICRO" version of their firmware that is capable of being put onto the WRT54GS V5.1, and I was curious if Tomato ever planned to create a simple firmware replacement for people who are unfortunate enough to have bought one of these routers.

I would love to have a tomato firmware which replaces the VxWorks firmware, even if it doesn't add any "new features" at least then my 5.1 wouldn't be useless brick.

    Thank you Tomato !
