    Hi,
What it says in the title really. Brand new WRT54G. I connect it to my pc and try to configure via the browser, but the browser is all corrupted. Tried lowering security settings, turned off all firewalls even tried to config on a differant pc with the same results. Anone have the factory way of firing a new firmware to it/web browser? Or is it a case of returning it?

    Please help.
    Regards
    Phil.

what do you mean corrupted? Be as specific and details as possible. Attached an image if you can. After that, maybe we can try to help. What firmware are you trying to load?

Sorry, let me explain more. I connect the router up as per the instructions (without connecting it to my internet router). I type in 192.168.1.1 to connect to the web browser to config the WRT54G 9not using the install disk method). I get the config web browser interface on screen, but no active tabs are displayed, the unit is unconfigurable as I cannot select/change any information in the browser. I have a WRT54G V5. I'm assuming i also have CDFB = WRT54G v5.0 / BCM5352EKPB Chipset as the info on my router matches up with what is on this website. I will try and post a screen shot shortly.

many thansk for the quick reply.
    Phil.

ok, after surfing the forums it seems im not the only one who has this issue. This is what my browser config page looks like. Differance being my V is 1.00.1.

I cant change the firmware as the firmware update tab isnt visible etc, unless these is some another way of uploading firmware/new browser without using a browser !!!

my browser looks like this guys!
