Hi all, i have a SRW248G4P and am using manage engine to try and monitor the device. Within manage engine you have an application:) called switch port mapper that allows you to view devices on the switch ports, from ip addresses to Mac addresses. I cannot get this part to work because i dont think i have setup the switch properly. I have gone through all the snmp area of the switch and i know i have probably skipped something pretty simple, but i am a little stuck. if there is anyone out there for with some advice for a newbie, it would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

Well minimally you will have snmp trap ability wether you can configure/manage the device that way i dont know i am not to familiar with that one. However snmp in general is all the same you need to have it turned on and the managing device listening for it, also depending on how its configured you would have passwords or community strings as well.
