I´m new to this Forum and to linksys Hardware and I´ve got a problem. I´ve got a WAG54g which is connected to ADSL and a WRT54G with DD-WRT #22 . The WAG54g is and has WDS enabled and in the WDS configuration the MAC-Adress of the WRT54G. The WRT54G is and his Gateway is set to WDS is enabled, Lazy WDS is disabled and the MAC-Adress of the WAG54g is entered. Both have Channel 11 and two different SSIDs. Everything work fine, PCs which are wirde connected to WRT54G can use the Internet connection from WAG54g. But the Network is not encrypted!!! When I enter at both Routers the same WPA-Pr-Shared Key the Routers have no connection. Why? How can I secure my Network? I really need help.

    Thank you so much

I did it with 2 WAG 1.2 and 1.02.7 firmware but only with WEP 128.
Did you try with WEP ?

No, I didn´t try WEP because it´s not rally secure. But I will try it and tell if WEP will work.

So, you´re right! It works with WEP key :) But isn´t there a chance to get it work with WPA?

I don't know. Either it's a bug or the dynamic key changing of the WPA causes a trouble...

Did you try with WPA on WAG and nothing on WRT and using all the WRT modes ?

I think I tried every constelation but the only that works for me is WEP. Anyway...WEP is better than nothing :)
