Is there a newer router from Linksys that is just as solid as the WRT54GL? Do not need to flash 3rd party firmware, just want something newer, stable that can handle high throughput. Is there one on the market?

To be honest, I stopped looking at other routers after I got at WRT54gL + Tomato firmware. It's been a while and I don't know anything on the newer models.

Is there a reason for not waning a WRT54GL? It's very reliable with Tomato.

I'm looking for a Wireless N router that is as awesome as the WRT54GL.

I've heard that the WRT400N and the WRT610N are both quite good. I believe that both models are pretty much the same except that the 610 has a gigabit switch.

    I would say take a WRT320N

and it's also not so exspensive as the WRT610.

Also WRT firmware support is on it's way.
