    Hi ,

Oktober 2005 I bought an AG241 ADSL2 gateway ( EU model ), cause my provider was going to upgrade my connection in December 2005 to ADSL2 ( 12mbit ).

In January 2006 nothing had happened, stil had my 8mbit connection, while my provider ensured me I had the 12mbit ADSL2 line.

Waited for months, and yestereday I called linksys and they told me to upgrade the firmware, wich would enable a dropdownmenu at the DSL modulation Type with the option ADSL2 in it ...
After I hung up te phone, I found out I allready had the latest firmware, and I phoned linksys again. They gave me an URL to download the BETA firmware, tried every one of them, but nothing helped, and the V2 version would not be installed ...

So I still can't use the ADSL2 speeds with it, and that's exactly the reason I bought it ...

Can anybody tell me how to enable the ADSL2 option in the DSL modulation dropdown menu ?

Or is there adjusted firmware wich can do this ... ?

I find it really strange you can buy an ADSL2 modem, wich can't do ADSL2 speeds ?!

I just bought the same model and both ADSL2 and ADSL2+ are selectable from the dropdown menu...
My firmware that came with the router is 2.00.00
I hope it will help you..
    Regards
