No connectivity at all after login with Contivity client

    Hi all

    I have a problem where I'm trying to VPN to work using a Contivity 4_65 client. No problems when connected direct to cable modem. But when using BEFSR11 - I am allowed to login but lose ALL connectivity - can't ping local addresses except my own adapter, can't ping any "10 dot" address. Nada.

    So, thinking that I need IPSec pass thru, I buy a WRT54G v5. I disable wireless (don't need it), enable IPSEC pass thru, and set up port forwarding to my machine's static ip for ports 500 UDP and 10001 UDP per my company's IT dept.

    Still nothing, lovely. I can login to the VPN server but that's it. If I disable IPSEC pass thru, I can't even do that.

    I've even upgraded firmware to 1.00.6 per Linksys tech suppt. No joy there either.

    Running out of ideas here. Any help would be appreciated.

    I'm having the same issues with all Linksys Routers. I am using the microsoft VPN client with my Windows 2003 Small business server. The OS is the VPN server. When I am at a clients location, if they have a Linksys router on their broadband connection I can establish the connection but there there is no connectivity after that. I have to connect directly to their broadband for it to work. This issue does not occur if there is another brand of router. I had a chat with Linksys and they recommned changing the MTU from 1500 to 1400, it didn't help. Anybody else running into this?
