I keep switching back and forth. Hyper doesn't have enough features but is the most stable. dd-wrt, I like the features but needs to be more stable. Openwrt....well I keep bricking my router from it(my fault...I keep messin w/stuff).

i mainly stick with dd-wrt pre 4 it is the most stable out of all of them. pre 5 under going a lot of changes and is not that stable.

there's new firmware based on Linksys 3.03.09 and HyperWrt 2.1b1 located at Hyperwrt.org. This was not created by Avenger but it is based on his code and the new Linksys changes. I have been running the new firmware for a few hours now and all looks ok!

It is only for WRT54G (not GS!!).

Be careful with this. Linksys has apparently held off doing a non-beta release of this due to overclocking issues on some WRT54G models. I do not know if this build has those changes in or not - but I would find out before I flashed it in to one of my routers...

hyperWRT 2.1b1, with 3.03.9 official firmware:
    http://www.css-auth.com/Tiny-eDNS/

    from that website:
"Since the maintainer of HyperWRT is currently too busy to merge revision 2.1b1 into the newly released 3.03.9 source code, I have taken the time to do so myself. The images are provided with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. If they brick your router, too bad. That said, I am currently running the first firmware image on my own WRT54G (hardware revision 2.2) without issue. Tiny-eDNS is released under the terms of the GNU GPL version 2."

It's not by Avenger. Rupan took Avenger's HyperWRT 2.1b1 and put it together with Linksys 4.20.6's source code.

I'm using it for 1 week+ and it works great especially when i use it with bittorrent and some startup script. Other firmwares seems to get really slow with bittorrent.

yes this work goes half to rupan, and half to avenger, being its based upon hyperwrt firmware. Good work rupan on the time put in. Still no official releases though, like a GS model release. thats what im waiting on.....
