I am on a Mac (OS X 10.4.2), and have always been able to VPN (using PPTP) to various servers before adding a LinkSys router to my network, supplied by Vonage (before only using AirPort Express) ... now, I cannot connect to any VPN server, since Negotiating fails (it looks like Timeouts in the log) ... here is the log from the server:

The linksys says it supports VPN passthrough, and has been enabled for L2TP and PPTP ... I'm not running a VPN server here at home, just trying to connect as client

    vpn over airport express

Would you mind posting any config info when doing vpn over airport express? I have wrestled with this since February but can only vpn over ethernet. Thanks.

    No config necessary

actually, you just need to port forward 500 and 1723 on the server end ... for the client, it's just type in server, user name and password, and it just wors (as long as you have your Mac OS X configed properly)
