No Webinterface after upgrading TomatoUSB

    Hi,

I just upgraded the TomatoUSB on my WRT54GL from Version 1.28 build 8752 to build 8754. Build type: NoUSB VPN.
I had a https webinterface running on a high port. After the upgrade, everything works well - except the webinterface. Access to the internet (pppoe) and SSH still works, but that's all.

    ps:
    Code:
    root@router:/tmp/home/root# ps
      PID USER VSZ STAT COMMAND
        1 root 1052 S /sbin/init noinitrd
        2 root 0 SW [keventd]
        3 root 0 SWN [ksoftirqd_CPU0]
        4 root 0 SW [kswapd]
        5 root 0 SW [bdflush]
        6 root 0 SW [kupdated]

       26 root 976 S console

       31 root 1164 S klogd
      126 root 1012 S redial
      129 root 1168 S telnetd -p 23
      130 root 716 S pppoecd vlan1 -u XXXXXXXXXXX -p XXXXXX -r 1492 -t 1492 -i 0 -I 30 -N 5 -T 5 -P 0 -C pppoe_down -R -s alice -k
      134 root 1016 S nas /etc/nas.conf /var/run/nas.pid lan
      136 root 916 S dropbear -p 22 -a
      142 root 1184 S crond -l 9
      147 root 768 S rstats
      153 nobody 780 S dnsmasq -c 1500 --log-async
      189 root 2288 S httpd -s
      525 root 972 S dropbear -p 22 -a
      526 root 1252 S -sh
      550 root 1172 R ps

Looks like httpd is working, even nmap says the port is open ("service: ssl/waste?", is this normal for https?), but I can't reach the webinterface at this port.

What's wrong? How can I fix this?

    Edit: I also posted in tomatousb.org/forum - http://tomatousb.org/forum/t-296135/no-web-ui-after-upgrade

Edit 2: The Remote Access web interface still works! Going back to Build 52 now.

After upgrade. I can't access local web UI from any browser (Vivaldi, ), thankfully SSH is working.
Router seems be working fine, so far.

Is there a GUI service I can restart, please advise?

Did you reset the router to factory defaults after the firmware upgrade?

If you don't, the upgrade process can leave artifacts that cause all sorts of weird problems.

No resets, reboots from SSH, and power cycled.

Was hoping to avoid a hard reset. Since it seems to be working.

As I said, if you don't perform a factory reset after the firmware upgrade, it can causes problems. And it won't always be obvious. Many times you'll only notice oddball things (missing tabs, missing fields, corrupt data in dropdown boxes, etc.) later, after you've gotten things otherwise configured and everything *seems* to be working correctly.

P.S. And no, you can't just back it up, reset, then restore from the backup, since the backup will likely be corrupt as well.
