    Hi,

I've got two questions regarding the Ewrt distribution.

First is this NoCat or NotCatsplash running on the Box ? I'm looking in fact for a way to authenticate users before allowing them the access to internet. The authentication method could be based on a flat file sotred on the device or a radius authentication

Second question: Is Ewrt supported on Wrt54gs version 4 ?

    thanks in advance
    Cedric

The answer you seek on is in the latest change log. You can view it and the rest of the project info at http://www.portless.net/menu/ewrt/

As for oCatSplash, it runs on the router and you can change to page if you don't like theirs and prefer a custom page.

Thanks for the info but you do not answer my question.

There is a major difference between NoCat and NoCatSplash which is the authentication. NocatSplash provides only a web pages and users agree the User Policy. Notcat goes a little bit further. Users need to authenticate before having access to the internet.

I'm looking for the second solution.... I do not requre a raduis authentication. A password text file as a method of authentication is fine

    regards
    Ced

    1. Only nocatsplash running on the Box.
    2. EWRT supported on Wrt54gs version 4

If you want authentication on the box, find out more at http://www.tinypeap.com
