Noise is always -100dBm

I have always a client noise level of -100dBm in status - wireless clients with WRT54GSv4 + DD-WRT v23 final. Remote wireless bridge is WET54G with latest official Linksys firmware that is 2.10. Both locations have homebrew cantennas about 1000 feet apart. Almost a line-of-sight, only some trees in the way.

My router shows signal levels around -75 which gives a connection of 24 or sometimes 36Mbps. Comments? It would be nice to monitor noise too because signal level itself is useless information when noise is high.

Now the question: Can the remote wireless bridge WET54G send the noise information to the router - or is the noise measured at the router location? If so, why is it not working?
