I am having issues with my router. I upgraded to the dd-wrt firmware and now I am having quite a few issues. None of my wireless devices will stay connected more than 10 minutes without loosing connection. My xbox 360 can not get an ip address from the wireless router, I ended up having give it a static ip just to get back online. I cant get into the messenger part of xbox live but before the firmware change I could just fine. The whole reason I even did the dd-wrt firmware because I heard it had options to make the signal strength greater. I havent adjusted these settings because I couldnt find them. The Wii doesnt stay connected for very long either just like my 2 pcs upstairs. Please help me.

Which router is this? Have you tried reflashing the stock Linksys firmware?

Its a WRT54GS router, you know the one with speed boost on it. I didnt want to go back to the stock firmware cuz it didnt have all the features. Prior to this flash I had some other firmware that enabled wired and wireless mode at the sametime but the stock firmware didnt way back then.

Did you hard-reset the router by holding down the reset button for 40 seconds after flashing DD-WRT on it?? If you did, maybe you should flash back to the latest version of the stock firmware and check if everything works. Don't forget to reset the router after the firmware upgrade.
