Is it possible to upgrade my notebook's wireless internal G card to a internal n card?

Will the old antennas inside the notebook work? Or does wireless N require new antenna design to function properly?

Your question is most likely best answered by the manufacturer. I would guess no, most internal cards are designed to fit perfectly in the location they are in and the 'N' type would probably be a different size/shape. You could most likely buy a PCMCIA card that would fit in the slot

can only tell from my experience -- if it's a Macbook Pro, then yes.
