Can anyone post a comprehensive guide to accessing NSLU2 via a SSH tunnel?

I have enabled SSH on my HyperWRT Thibort 15c and was able to tunnel smb port 139 on my first try at home and at work. But after the first day, I couldn't access my NSLU2 anymore via PuTTY.

I had setup PuTTY to forward local port 139 to destination IP 192.168.1.77:139

I also made sure File and Printer Sharing was uninstalled so port 139 could be used from \\127.0.0.1

I'm wonder if I need to implement a real VPN such as available from DD-WRT.

Turned off "Filter Internet NAT Redirection" in Thibor firmware and everything seems to be peachy now.
