I have a d-link DSM-320 media server that plays and displays media stored on a pc. I wanted to know if its possible to setup the nslu2 as a server of this kind?
Dlinks media server program usually runs on the pc and the DSM-320 finds the server. But I also noticed if I have other 3rd party UPnP servers running, dlink DSM-320 also sees them too.

There is a WINS server feature in the nslu2. Dont know if that can be used too somehow?

Using mt-daapd you can stream music libraries to other devices(itunes, for example)

I am using Twonkyvision 2.9 on my NSLU2 with Unslug 5.5beta.

The video quality on Dlink DSM-320 is choppy when playing with DVD format files.
