Nice to find a forum with somuch knowledge about the NSLU2!

I just received this nice product second hand, but couldn't find a driver at the linksys website. Doesn't it need installing? Can I simply plug it in and will my dhcp server give it an IP?

If not: does anyone know where I can download the driver?

It doesn't use drivers. The NSLU2 uses Samba which allows any ethernet connected device to read/write to the hard drive(s) through use of TCP/IP.
