    Okay, I have been going back and forth with linksys' tech support in india or wherever for the last few days and its getting annoying, they cannot help me.

    I need help setting this nss6000 up to backup a server..

    here is what I have so far.

    Raid5.. 2.05TB
    Made an enterprise admin account just for the nss6000
    When I set up a snapshot I cannot get it too take snapshots of the server's drives.. Do I have to do this FROM the server? or can I do this remotely from a seperate PC.. I think I have to go onto the server, but they cannot answer my question. its really annoying, I've never set up a network storage device nor do I have any experience doing so. I figure its time to learn so I picked up this huge arse thing. I probably went a little overboard but oh well.

    a friend told me that you guys use the network storage device to back up anything from home pc's to servers.. I would like to capture 2 drives.. one that has the server operating system and the other for the smartlaunch *its for a gaming cafe*

    I've tried to follow their setup .pdf but it's like pulling teeth with tweezers... I've asked linksys to just get me in contact with someone who KNOWS anything about their network storage devices and i keep getting told "I'm sorry, we cannot transfer you to that department"

    ::sigh::

    help? please? again i have absolutely no experience with this so please understand my probably silly and obvious questions.
