Ok I have a WRT54GL running 1.60 firmware, 3 PC's that are on Windows XP SP2 (1 Laptop and 2 desktops) and I have a problem on 2 of them where when accessing anything on the web I am being presented with the Tomato login, if I cancel it I do not seem to have access to the web for that application, if I login the application does have access to the web. Even stranger is that the 3rd PC has never asked for this logon but has full access to the web, the laptop seems to have asked me once for each app then has not asked since, for the laptop only which is wirelessly connected this happen on the 1.50 upgrade as well and the 3rd PC seems to ask everytime I open the apps.... In the main the apps are my web browsers, mail and news clients and a NTP time client.

Anybody got any ideas???? I have reinstalled and reset the router but it is still happening, it's not causing a problem as such it's just a bit annoying....

Any ideas or help appreciated.... TIA

Just an idea ... you mentioned resetting the router. Have you tried a NVRAM clear and manually re-keyed in your firmware settings? It's worth a try if you're using a firmware back-up to restore your settings after the upgrade. Also, does this happen with the default Linksys firmware? It really sounds like a OS configuration issue, but trying your setup with default Linksys firmware would help determine this.

BTW - When relatives come I have 1 desktop(wired) and 2 laptops(wireless) connected for internet access - never had any complaints about receiving a Tomato Login.
