    Evening people, just need to pick your brains for a wee while.
    Ive got a wireless network 802.11g with 7 clients running through a single WRT54G running dd-wrt v22. QoS is set up fine and dandy but the woreless network isnt working as efficiantly as it could. My idea is to get an access point (a cheap 11g) and attach that to one of the ethernet ports to access the internet via the wrt. Would the services priortity be ignored and those who are on the second wireless network get full priority to the internet or would the service priority still be valid?

    If i havent explained it enough please dont hesitate to ask but ill try and draw a little pic for you;

    internet-------WRT54G~~~~~~~~~~clients 1-4 (channel 1)
    .........................!
    ......................accesspoint~~~~~~~~clients 5-7 (channel 6)

    ---- and ! = ethernet
    ~~~ = Wireless
    many thanks
    QoS settings would still affect wireless clients connected to the AP.
