    Running 2 Tomato Routers - 1 MLPPP, 1 Standard

    Hi All,

These forums have been a wealth of information, and I want to thank all the posters for the information they've shared.

So, I'll be moving into a new house in the next few months. I've had it wired for network and now am deciding how I'm going to get it on the net. I've decided that I'll be using MLPPP. My 'vision' (as it were) is to have the following setup, starting from the demarc of my house -->

    Wet Line w/ POTS Splitter
    Dry line
    2x Speedtouch 516
    WRT54GL w/ TomatoMLPPP latest alpha
WRT54GL w/ latest version of Tomato
    2x 8 Port Gigabit switches
    A cornucopia of PC's/Consoles/random network devices/etc

In any case the plan is to have the first router simply bind the lines and do nothing else. The second router will do DHCP/QoS/Port Forwarding/Wireless/etc. The switches will provide gigabit connectivty throughout my home.

My main question is how to setup the 2 routers to work together. I have a few ideas, but I'm not really in a position to test it just yet. So I'm looking for thoughts/opinions.

    Thanks!
