Just for fun I've setup nginx +ssl using optware on my Asus router. I've installed and succesfully configure nginx to use php-fcgi to serve up php. The only issue is that I can't figure out how to get php-fcgi to run as a daemon in the background. When I manually start it, it takes over the ssh session and stops as soon as I close the terminal. Calling it in a startup script hasn't worked either, including using screen to do so.
