Ordered 50 QuickVPN and it's firmware for WRV54G - WTF?

    Guys I have an RV082

I ordered a 50 user license CD for QuickVPN but it appears to be a firmware upgrade for a WRV54G wireless router.

What gives? Part number is QVPN50

I've checked the site I bought it from and some other sites and some say it is for the RV082.

Any insight on how to get the 50 user licenses on my RV082 with this WRV54G firmware?

It was confused by this before, and here is what I found out.
The license CD has a license key, with which you could register with Linksys and then download the required firmware to support 50 QuickVPN users. The same license CD will work for both RV082 and WRV54G.

You get a sheet that appears like it...but the way it works...you create a username and a password. You log into http://www.linksys.com/quickvpn which currently redirects you to http://www1.linksys.com/quickvpn/user/

You log in...and you have options to download firmware that has been purchased (available for you).

The Q50 version is usually one or two versions behind what the latest standard version is.
