Anyone having the P2P problems when they leave their router on for a couple of days on the WRT54GS? I have 2 routers doing the same thing. I tried using HyperWRT 1.4 with the start-up command to enable 8192 connections, but it is still the same thing. Is this a hardware issue (physical) or just firmware issue?

This only happens when 4 computers are on BT/WinMX/DC for a couple of days. The only way to fix this is re-plugging back the power. Please help, thanks.

Is there anything I can do to fix it?

The idea I got was that replacing with real hardware is the only remedy. You could also try another firmware version, I don't know..

Maybe a nice addition to the HyperWRT firmware would be statistics of the NAT table. (number of active connections)

So it's non-fixable at all?

Any suggestions of good routers that does not have that problem?

I tried that in the HyperWRT 1.4 version, but that did not work for me. Anyone ever tried the Syeasoft?

Any other ways of fixing these problems?

    Try

8192 is probably to much for this router.

    8192 worked fine for me.

8k was fine with me BUT after 2-3 day the free command was showing not much free memory ...

4k did not degrade by connection and the memory no longer fill up completely - it is rock solid and work great ...

Avenger, I haven't tried 2.0b1 because I understood we can no longer play with the NAT entries, is it correct or am I missing something ?
