    Hello,

I have found a way to make a partial backup from Disk 1 in Disk 2, but i don't know if it has any drawback.

The trick is to create a Backup Job from other device: 127.0.0.2 (this points to the NSLU2 itself), selecting a shared folder origin that is a shared folder in disk 1 that we want to backup. The destination of this backup job is a shared placed in disk 2 in the NSLU2 itself. I have to use 127.0.0.2 instead of 127.0.0.1 because 127.0.0.1 is not accepted by the validations of the new backup job (its own fixed network IP is not accepted).

I have tried one time this configuration and is running !!! Anybody knows if is there any problem doing this thing???

    Thanks

    Addition

I have found that I have to change the password to the user credentials. Otherwise, the backup stops running. Strange behaviuor.

Anyone have any more info on this? I had a backup job from disk 1 to disk 2 running for several months before I noticed that it was writing the user: "root" as the owner of all the files and folders written to disk 2. I was unable to delete, move or even FTP get any files from those folders with my credentials, even though I'm in the administrators group.

Anyhow, I tried your internal IP trick and could not get it to work. Just gives the message: failed, cannot connect to file server '//127.0.0.2/DISK 2'.
