    Hello Everyone,

I am new to the forum, but I wanted to post this information so that if anyone was not sure what to purchase, I think this stuff rules.

    17-145-657 ENCLSR 3.5" USB/FW AMS DS-2316CBK
    (Serial#: 065779180070)

    22-152-011 HD 160GB|SAMSUNG 7200 SP1604N 2MB %
    (Serial#: S013J20Y337611)

    (Serial#: 745883559039)

You can check each item out over at NEWEGG.COM. If all you are intersted in is a USB2.0 Enclosure, then the DS3 has that for about 20.00 less. I got the one with the IEE option as well. Also, I might consider a 8MB Cache Buffer Next time as well. Oh, and upgrading your local lan to wired Gigabyte increases the transfer speed about 6 times.

In Addition, for those of you who are into security. PLEASE MAKE SURE that you enable netbios over tcpip. Otherwise you will never see the shares. Also, enable UPnp on your firewall if you are running windowsXP SP2. Sometimes this will stop you from being able to view the NSLU2 in your "My Network Places"
