    Hello everybody,

I installed the NSLU2 with the latest firmware the other day.
The box is perfectly reachable from both of my xp clients.

What drives me crazy is the behaviour of the scheduled backup software.

I entered Host- and Sharename of the shares, that I wanted to backup. Additionally I entered the name and the password of a user that has full read permission on all files and folders on the target machines.

Then I save my settings. When I run the job once by pressing "start backup now", it works fine.

I then changed the settings to a scheduled backup and pressed "apply" and "close".

When the time came the nslu2 could not reach my host anymore. In the log I found the message "backup job xy failed, cannot connect to file server zz ..."

In the XP host´s eventlog I found event 680 together with the code 0xC000006A which indicates a logon attempt with a wrong or misspelled password.

It eems as if just by entering the time for a scheduled backup it changed the password-settings.

I encountered this situation several times now.

    Any ideas?

    Regards
