What do I have to do to save files on the router so they survive a reboot?

...or, if you don't want to wear out your flash, enable cifs.

    Exactly what I thought...
I mount a cifs share and save the files to my dreambox...

But what about modifications in cru? They are stored under /var/spool/cron/crontabs.
You can put the stuff that must be executed on jffs, but then the cronfile itself?????
    I lost mine yesterday.

I answered the cru question in your other post on the subject.
