I have a Linksys wireless B router BEFW11S4. Suddenly an extremely puzzling thing is occurring and my Verizon DSL support has no answer. I also work in internet support and have never heard of this occurring. This has just occurred since I upgraded my Linksys Wireless B routers firmware and I'm not sure if the two are related or if it's coincidence. Note also that this DOES NOT occur when I play the same video's in Internet Explorer 7. Also it's different video's on different sites etc. Here's what happens: Immediately when I go to the page with the video and either click Play or it auto starts the DSL connection shuts down, I'm assuming at the router. When I login and reset the router or go up and power cycle both router and modem it starts working. However last Sunday I had to totally unhook the modem, router, and even the phone line so Verizon Level 3 support could free up the Mac Address and IP. Can anyone help?
