Hi. I hope someone here can help me or direct me to somewhere else that I might be able to find a solution to my problem. Thank you.

    HW Setup:
The cabel modem is connected to WRT54Gv4 (I think) with Tomato 1.14 with wired connections to an Xbox and living room desktop and broadcasts a wireless connection with WPA encryption.
In my room I have a WRT54GL with Tomato 1.25 that I want to use as a wireless connection to the desktop in my room.

I have the router in my room set up in Wireless Client mode and everything works great, except I cannot stream movies to my Xbox because they are on different networks. The main reason I say it works great is because I have an acceptable amount of lag in Counter Strike: Source (i.e. not much at all).

I tried using the router in my room in Wireless Bridge mode, but it caused lots of lag spikes in CS:S and streaming to the Xbox was really poor quality.

    So my questions are these:
Is there something with Wireless Bridge mode that causes the connection quality to drop? Am I missing some settings that could help mitigate it?

I attempted to set up AP+WDS mode but failed and I'm not exactly sure what the difference between Wireless Bridge and WDS is.
