I want to use an filtere internet service for my network. I want to point my WRT54G at a proxy server on the web. Is there a way for me to point my WRT54G at a proxy server? Do I need additional or different firmware? Thanks in advance for your help!

I do not understand your question. Do you have a proxy server on one of your computers that is connected to the Internet? How do you want the WRT54G connected? Are you going to use ICS and connect the WRT54G to a wired NIC on the computer with the proxy server? You can do this since ICS will assign an address to the wired NIC the you will connect the WRT54G to. You have to enable ICS by allowing the sharing of the Internet Connection. ICS will assign addresses to all the NICs on the computer the you enable it on. The proxy server can be on another machine that is on the network that computer is connected to, but you have to setup a network connection by using the Network Setup Wizard. You have to specify the name of your proxy server or its IP Address. Hope this helps. For more information on ICS and proxy servers go to the help in Windows or on the Microsoft Website or the DSLReports website.
