Title says it all. I'm getting poor 802.11n reception using the router and adapter stated in the topic title. The signal goes between one and two bars. While browsing for 802.11 b/g signals, however, I get four bars. Whats wrong? I'm using WPA2 encryption on the 5Ghz 802.11n signal and WEP on the 2.5Ghz 802.11 b/g signal.

Try this, set it to single channel on your 802.11n and change the channel and save your settings. See if signal strength is better. Keep changing the channel until you get the best setting. Then switch to dual channel. The 5Ghz signal cannot penerate walls as well as the well as the 2.5 Ghz signal. You may have to move the router around to try to avoid large metal objects or fish tanks. The WPA2 encrption also makes it more difficult to maintain the connection.
