I'm running a WRT54G v2.2 router connected to a zxyel 660 dsl modem. A couple of weeks ago I had a hard time connected to the net from my desktop. Upon going into the web GUI I saw that I wasn't getting anytype of wan info, and that the light for port 1 does come on and the wan light does come on. Does anybody know what might have cause this and what I might do to fix it. currently I have the same modem plugged into another router ( belkin F5D5230-4) and everything works fine. I just miss my wireless connection from the WRT.

Can't say for sure, but perhaps try hard resetting to defaults, and re-setup the WRT. I had the same issue a while ago, and a hard reset solved it. (I also re-loaded the firmware, but that did not seem to help).

done that several times including opening it up and jumping the pins on the flash chip. tried 2 different versions dd-wrt with the current being 23 sp2. still nothing. I'm thinking of just linking the 2 routers together but thats takes up space plus the belkin only gets half speed on the wan port for some strange reason... anybody know where to point me for a non belkin firmware update that might give me some of the same options that i can get with my linksys?
