I'm running Tomato 1.27 on an Asus RT-N16. I have a few external ports forwarded to a few computers internally (eg, ssh). I just purchased a vpn account (openvpn) and set up the client on my tomato router. Everything works except one problem. When I ssh to my external port via the dyndns domain setup in tomato, I get no response. Any solutions? Thanks. I suppose that the dyndns domain name is forwarding to the wan ip on my router.

1.27 on the RT-N16? Wow, didn't know that would run on it. First I would suggest getting yourself on a up-to-date version. Most prefer a Toastman or Shibby build. You can read up on it here. Running something that old on new hardware could be problematic maybe.

I would make sure that you dyndns service really is pointing to your ip, you set it up then in the firmware gui? You gave you pc a static ip too? Port 22? Just a few things to watch for.
