    K, running v1.05.6 - HyperWRT 2.1b1 + Thibor12 and have everything setup/running great, with this one exception.

i and my roommate use bittorrent fairly often and have restricted any outgoing connections to the default BT ports and set our listen ports to 29000 (roomie) and 28010 (mine) w/UPnP disabled. now, when i quit utorrent 28010 is still being forwarded to my machine, the same for the rommate on 29000. i've tried setting up port triggers and disabled port forwarding but this doesn't seem to make a difference, unless of course i'm misunderstanding what a port trigger does.

is there something i'm missing here?

this should actually have been in the WRTXXX forum...

well, seemed to have solved it myself. disabled port forwarding (manual) and enabled UPnP with default bt port restrictions and it seems to work ok. no need for triggers.

port triggering is NOT to be used by applications that continuously sends or receives data by your machines.

Port forwarding is the one to be used.
