Alright so i'm having a probelm: my fowarded ports aren't fowarded. That's the easiest way to put it. I've searched the web and ended up here. This problem is related to multiple routers both linksys and netgear. From what I've seen online it's a common problem with no solution.

    So here's what I have
    A BEFSR41 v3.
I've fowarded, triggerd and DMZed my IP Address and nothing cuts it...
    Direct connecting works fine though.

I've even read up on it in this forum and have found nothing that helps and the posts are usually several months old.

So... let's solve this problem once and for all!... please...

Sorry if this is a bit 'grandma suck eggs'

I have a WAG54G and to get port forwarding to work you have to use a static IP address on the PC you want to give the port forward ability.

Are you doing or tried this?

well... no. there is a reason but i did set the ports to my IP so that shouldn't matter. I did make sure they matched.. also port triggering should still work.
the reason I don't go static is becuase for some reason whenever I do everyone single computer on the network loses connection for no reason what so ever.

*Sigh* why can't all things in life be simple.
