I have tomato running on my Linksys router. Everything looks working fiine. Now try use RDP connection, therefore I forwarded the port 3389 to my server.
I also check on the server of the port 3389 is open by using CanYouSeeMe.org.
The check telles me the must be open, but when I try te start from outside een RDP connection, it's not reachable ??

    So what Iám doing wrong??

May be it is working, but from different oudsite location like CanYouSeeMe.org and the place from where you have tried to connect has a restriction for outgoing connection on port 3389. If this is the case you can do so called port translation. In that way all external requests comming to port 443 for example are forwarded to port 3389 (here I suppose that port 443 is not blocked). In tomato's port forwarding page put 443 instead of 3389 into Ext Ports field and 3389 into Int Port. Then try the connection from Remote Desktop Client and put the port 443 at the end of the requested address, i.e. yourhost.yourdomain.net:443.

Please don't take this the wrong way but just to double check the basics first you have got RDP enabled on your PC that you are trying to connect to in the "system" window within control panel?

Had a friend with the same issue and had it going in 5 mins for him when the box was ticked and a user added, he could'nt believe it he had been at it for a week before that and could not get it to work......
