does spending 8 hours a day, 3 days a week 10' from a 251mw signal emitted from a 15db antenna pose a health hazard? my take is that it can't be any worse than the 3w zack morris cell phones we all used to walk around with next to our skulls... anyone with rf knowledge or medical credentials care to elaborate? discuss...

I do not have medical credentials to say one way or another, but on a side note, I no way shape or form is running the router anywhere near 251mw reccomended. At about 80mw you basically max out the radio thermally, and above say something like 150ish, your noise floor is raised up exponentially, eliminatining any possible gain in strength from raising the power. Back to your main question though. I have been living directly under a 14db outdoor omni running at 1 watt for the past several months, with no bad medical side effects that I can notice. Of course, I haven't had an x-ray or any real tests to check to make sure I don't have radiation poisoning.
