I just got VDSL2 from Deutsche Telekom (T-Home). My problem is that I can't seem to figure out how to use my Linksys router instead of the crappy router that came with.
I know it is somewhat special. According to the information I could find, you need to set the WAN port to VLAN 7 and tag it as such.
I tried it with the GUI of DD-WRT v24 with no success.
I tried it with Tomato using the following in telnet/ssh:
    # nvram set debug_nocommit=1
    # vconfig add vlan1 7
    # nvram set wan_ifname=vlan7
    # service wan restart

    This didn't work either.
Does anyone know how to do this correctly? Firmware is secondary. I'd prefer Tomato, but I don't mind installing a different one as long as I can get it to work with it.

    Thanks,

    Patrick Schmid
