    Hi t4thfavor!

You might enjoy this brand new article on Tom's Hardware posted just today. While it's not entirely relevant to what you're asking about, it does point out one major shortcoming of Skype... Namely, that it does not support mapping (which basically means assigning a Skype account to a user's IP address). This is what is holding you back from prioritizing your Skype calls.

All Linksys wireless-B routers do not have any sort of port priority/QoS function. As the previous user has said, perhaps you would consider purchasing a WRT54 model (i.e. G/GS) where you could do so. If you check out Skype's FAQ here, you'll see what they recommend in terms of opening ports on your router. You'll have to decide whether your Skype calls are more important, or protecting yourself from getting hacked is more important. Personally, I wouldn't open ALL TCP/UDP ports above 1024 just so Skype works right.

    Hope this helps! :)
