I've just set up my WAG54G (v1.2) and I'm now having a problem accessing some websites (notably ones where I need to enter passwords etc like Ebay, Hotmail etc.... I'm a bit of a newbie to this stuff, so I wondered if anyone had any advice as to what I should be checking or altering in the options to get these sites to work. It has got firmware 1.01.6 at the moment - do I need to upgrade this and if so what to? Can I save this firmware so that I can reinstall it if a new version doesn't help? Sorry if these are stupid questions, but as I say I don't know hell of a lot about this sort of stuff!

Incidently, I was unable to install the WPC54G notebook card in WinME, despite it saying it is supported. (Basically the WLAN monitor doesn't appear in the System tray, although the card itself seems to be installed.) Does anyone know if it is supported, as I've read that no one seems to be able to get it installed correctly and there may also be issues with Texas Instruments PCMCIA controllers. Are there any other drivers I can try (I've used the ones on the UK linksys site but they had no effect). so I've managed to use a D-link USB adapter for now....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Cheers

    Gus
