Problem connecting WRT54G to BEFSR41

    Here's what I have:

    Comcast, Tallahassee, FL
    BEFCMU10 cable modem (
    BEFSR41 router (
    WAP54G wireless access point

    With computers plugged into the router, everything works beautifully. The INSTANT I plug in the WAP54G, the connection drops...and a DHCP release/renew on the WAN gives me an IP of the cable modem starts acting like the cable signal got dropped.

    I reset the cable modem and we're back to square one...IF the WAP54G's not plugged in. The WAP54G seems to be taking down my connection.

    I programmed the WAP54G with an IP address of
