I have an established wireless network with 4 computers accessing the internet through a router and DSL Modem.
I am unable to attach another computer running Win 98se (USB 1.1) with a WUSB11 V4 adapter. This computer has been successfully connected to the router using a WUSB11 V2.6 adapter. The V4 adapter is new and the V4 driver was downloaded from the LinkSys site. I am able to configure the V4 adapter with the correct name and WEP code.
However the adapter never connects to the router.
    Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Why the switch to v4? Did you uninstall the WUSB11 driver and client before installing the new version?

Two computers and one USB adapter so I bought a second adapter. I have uninstalled the V2.6 adapter as far as I can tell. It does not show in System device manager.
Adapters have always been difficult to install on the Win 98se PC. Plug and Pray. I always follow the sequence of installing the driver then plug in the adapter as instructed by Linksys. Thanks for your reply.
