    Hi,

I'm having a problem setting up WDS in my network.

    I’m using:
-Linksys WRT54G v5 router, DD-WRT flashed, connected directly to modem (ground floor)
-Linksys WRE54G v1 wireless range extender, firmware v1.06.5, extends the signal, (first floor)
-Belkin F5D7230-4 v1000, DD-WRT flashed, should be able to pick up the signal from the WRE54G (WDS) (second floor)

I’m able to set up WDS using the linksys and belkin router, but I’m not able to extend the signal with my WRE54G.

My WRT54G WDS setup looks like this:

The WDS setup of my router upstairs looks like this:

And finally, the setup of my WRE54G:

I thought it would be very easy setting up WDS with the range extender by just adding the MAC-address of my range extender, but unfortunally this won’t work..

Now I spend about 3 days figuring out what I should set these settings to, but I still didn’t find out.

So if anyone has ideas? Please tell me…

    Thanks in advance!!!!
