    Hi!
I have 7 WRT54G mixed V2.2 and 3.1. It seams to be problem with antenna selectors. This chip is very sensitive for static discharges. 3 of my WRT with external antenas has ben destroyed. I have removed switches and on that place i put a jumper. Next thing is to solder smal RF choke on the output of antenna to make DC short circut for output. This RF chokes is from GSM telefones and i dont know values for them. They are SMD packed. Problem is that without that choke eaven RX/TX switch will be destroyed if discharge ocure. Does somebody know wich values this chokes should be for 2.4GHz frequency? I think that would be nice thing for linksys org to change hardware in their next generations of WRT. It is very easy to get static electricity if you have long coax cables and omni antenna on roof.
