I flash the DD-WRT v23.SP1 Final to my WRT54G v1.1 router last night. Did a factory restore before and after the flash. Now I find the connection keeps dropping every few hours on both wired and wireless connection, and the web gui slows to a crawl and I have to keep refreshing the page... I flashed this because I wanted the built in XLink Kai support... but I'm about ready to go back to HyperWRT.. it seems alot more stable..

    Try some V.23 SP2 versions :)

    I agree

The SP2 Alpha releases are magnitudes more advanced and cleaner than the SP1 release...

Whats the worst that can happen - you could always fall back to the SP1 build.

Read the WiKi - the admin username changes to 'root' under since SP1. Very important!!

I actually had tried the '2006 - 0811-2' SP2 build first.. and found I still would get random disconnects every few hours... so I went back to SP1 Final since I thought the SP1 build would be more stable.. and I still got disconnects... I have already flashed back HyperWRT... maybe when SP2 is final I will try it again...

Try clearing your nvram before switching to dd-wrt
