hi, i live in canade (quebec).

I just bought a new WMP54GS pci card , a WPC54GS adapter card for laptop and
a WRT54GS Wireless-G router. they are all with speedbooster. i have windows
xp pro, 2.4 ghz, 256 meg.

i did install the pci card into my computer and then instal the driver from
the cd. All went really fine.
then i install the router and configuring it with another computer (it is
    wired) and all goes perfectly.
I did test my computer and i was seing the good ssid. internet (cable) was
working all perfectly and had a nice strenght and link quality connection.

after all that, i did go install the WPC54GS adapter card into the laptop
(with windows xp) and all was working perfectly. Then i return to my other
PC and it was disconnected from the router and i was not seing anymore

i did remove the driver then remove the card then re-install it like it said
and nothing work. i tryed change the channel of my router and car but
nothing happen (the laptop is still connected to the router).

i went into CMD and type : ipconfig /all and i had no ip at all.
my ip is set to obtain one automatically. my limit of wireless connection of
    my router is 10.
the PC detect correctly the WMP54GS pci card and says that its active.

i did upgrade firmware for the router and drivers for the card.

is it hardware or software problem? and how i ca nresolve this?

i would appreciate to have some help.

ty! (sorry for my bad english)

I suggest you to disable the DHCP server and set static addresses into your PCs !

erm.. i don't think it will work. i did try with a WMP54G pci card (not a WMP54GS) and it work all perfectly!! so i think the problem is the WMP54GS. i will just return it and get a new one.

i got a WMP54GS the other day...could never get over 1.0 Mbps with a speedbooster router...hope you have better luck than I did with that card.
